In late August, SECOORA convened a workshop in St. Petersburg, FL to assess the data management and applications requirements for the regional fisheries management community.
SECOORA Regional Asset Inventory Workshop Summary
In early September, SECOORA’s Data Management Coordinating Council (DMCC) met with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Committee to evaluate the current status of and future plans for our regional asset inventory.
Southeastern United States - Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) 2009 Conference Summary
In July 2009, SECOORA participated in the Southeastern United States - Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) 2009 Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Sam Walker was invited to present, along with representatives from Quebec, Mississippi, and Newfoundland & Labrador, as part of a panel entitled “Fostering Collaborations in Ocean Observation.”
